APHRODITE-2 Hirosaki Workshop

Purpose:
To discuss about APHRODITE/APHRODITE-2 methods and further improvements between data users, developers (APHRODITE team) and data providers.

Date: 16 - 23 May, 2018

Place: Hirosaki and Makuhari in Japan

Participation: It is a very good opportunity to learn the APHRODITE-2 products that will be released soon. Anybody is welcome to attend the workshop as far as you can come of your own funding, and is seriously interested in APHRODITE-2 workshop. If he/she is able to provide daily or sub-daily precipitation and/or temperature data of his/her country, he/she is more than welcome and we will appreciate his/her contribution. Funding support: There is a chance of funding support (fully covered).
You can be an applicant for this, if you are ...

submitting an abstract to JpGU "precipitation extreme" session (*this is mandatory),

under 40 years old,

have never stayed in Japan before,

seriously interested in APHRODITE workshop, and

providing daily or sub-daily station precipitation and /or temperature data of your country (unless you or your organization (NHM) has not passed such data to us).
